Rebuilding Together

Rebuilding Together helps to improve the homes of low-income homeowners by providing repair services. Come out and volunteer some of your time to help someone in need. The site address is 2714 McGee Ave, Berkeley 94703. We will be prepping the exterior of the house for painting. The wood trim around the windows and doors is weathered and the paint is failing. There are also some windows that require reglazing. We will also be trimming some foliage away from the house and removing some debris. Rebuilding Together will supply bottled water for everyone and lunch for all-day volunteers. Please eat breakfast before hand. Also, please wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that you won't mind getting dirty and/or paint-spattered. There is a photo release form that everyone will need to sign before participating. The form is at the following link: Release Form. If you are going and can fill this out before Saturday, that would be great, but we will also have extra copies for you when we meet on Saturday. We will be taking the bus to the event location, so please remember to bring your bus pass.
