If you’ve been sending off internship or new-grad applications and getting silence, you’re not alone. Sometimes it’s a small tweak in the way you structure your resume or a smarter way to fill out those application fields that will get you noticed. We’ve been there. And it’s hard to know what to change when you’re working on it alone.
Let’s fix that together. HKN is hosting an Application Jam Session so we can sit side-by-side, apply together, and share what actually works. You’ll see how experienced peers structure their resume, how they move fast through applications, and how they think about referrals and follow-ups.
What’s happening:
Mini-lecture: where to find postings, using Simplify, Jake’s LaTeX resume tutorial, whether cover letters are worth it, and how referrals work (plus how to ask for one).
Two corners:
Apply-Together Corner: a fun, supportive competition to keep momentum high.
LeetCode Challenge Corner (all levels): for folks who’ve already applied and want to leetcode with someone.
