DESCRIPTION:Finder Hacking for Fun and Profit\n \nEver since Dropbox has 
 launched\, it has had deep integration with the Finder\, Apple's file ma
 nager for Mac OS X. What most people don't know is that Apple doesn't ac
 tually provide any APIs for third-parties to integrate with the Finder. 
 In this talk Rian Hunter\, lead engineer of the Dropbox desktop client\,
  will explain the techniques used to get the Finder to include Dropbox i
 n the toolbar\, sidebar\, context menu\, and over each file icon.\n\nRia
 n Hunter is a 2008 graduate of MIT in EECS. He joined Dropbox as the 5th
  engineer immediately after graduating and currently leads the desktop c
 lient team. He's mainly responsible for the Linux port of Dropbox\, dras
 tically improving both the performance and memory usage of the modern da
 y desktop client as well as perfecting the Finder integration. You can r
