Deliverables 2 - 5/4/01

In this installment we added specular lighting, more geometric primitives, reflection, and refraction. All images on this page are in jpeg format for the web. Follow links or click the images for the original TIFFs.

The Platonic Crystal Uses planes and polygons to model a dodecahedron suspended in a room with light sources on the ceiling. The dodecahedron has a cool crystal looking appearance achieved using mirrored surfaces.

Friends A parabaloid peeks out of the floor while a sphere looks on, dimly reflecting an image of the room around it.

Dancing with Myself A lonely dodecahedron reflected by a large mirror.

Weird A glass sphere floats in front of a large cylinder. Flanked on both sides by parabaloids.

Reflection Nice reflection effects off of a sphere.
