Viewing Instructions:
In order to properly view this page, and enjoy the result of the many hours of sweat
and toil that I put into it, I make the following suggestions:
You might want to consider adding this TrueType font
to your system, if you've got Windows95 onwards. You don't have to, but it makes
some bits look a little more spiffy.
You should use at least an 800x600 resolution display. This is because a
number of pages on this site have a navigational console that take up quite
a bit of screen space, and some other graphics are just plain humungous. And even
so, on an 800x600 display, you should configure your
web browser to display the maximum amount of browsing area possible. Removing
the Toolbars and Directory Buttons, and if you like, the Location field as well,
should do the trick. Larger resolutions might not need to have these options
off. If your browser has a "full screen" mode, that's even better.
Your browser needs to be frames-capable, and be able to handle javascripts.
So make sure the appropriate options are selected.
If you are one of those lucky souls with access to a T1 connection, or something
faster than a mere modem connection, then things should come up with a snap. If
on the other hand you also have to bear with a 28800 bps modem link, then please
exercise some patience when viewing the page. Some parts of it by definition
have a number of pictures on them. Others just have a few (or one) really HUGE
graphics. I've made sure that appropriate warnings are posted at any place where
you could go get a cup of coffee while waiting, and at other points just tried
to tone things down as much as possible without sacrificing aesthetics too much.
Hopefully it's not too bad.
Just for your info, this page was designed on an 800x600 display, with all the Netscape display
options except the "Location" undisplayed. I've been using mainly a 28800 bps
modem connection to download it, though I've looked at it using other connections
and other display resolutions as well.
