I deleted the character of the Seeker from the character roster once it became clear that we would be missing a few players due to sickness, surgery, etc. Therefore, I never wrote a complete character background for the character.
Basically, Freddie's mother had been one of the earlier victims of a string of murders taking place in Los Angeles. He has been seeking his own clues as to the identity of her murderer, but he's been unable to discover anything beyond what the overworked police department has been able to dig up.
Recently, while talking to Hamilton, one of his few leads in the case, Freddie has become convinced that Hamilton may have seen the killer or at least a murder witness. He has harrassed Hamilton for days, and he's finally been able to convince Hamilton to take a trip to San Francisco to visit a hypnotherapist to try to extract some more information from his memories.
At the beginning of the game, feel free to talk to your neighbors, nap, read a book, or flip through a magazine, just as you might on a real train ride. You might try pumping Jason for more information about what happened the night his girlfriend was murdered. When one of the judges announces the explosion, (safely!) fling yourself out of your seat, scream, cry out to the Heavens, or go nuts, as appropriate. Don't go overboard, as pretty much everyone should be dead within a few moments. When you die, just lie still on the ground with your eyes closed until a judge announces the continuation of the game.
When you wake, you'll be very angry. You were so close to your first solid clue regarding your mother's murder, and then fate had to intervene. There must be some way that you can still work to avenge your mother's death, even from here, not that you know where "here" is. You have to find some answers, and you'll want to find them soon.
