Office

This rather Spartan location is the office. I'm currently working toward a Ph.D. in computer science, studying the field of computer networks at UCLA. My interests include network protocols and system design. My current advisor is Professor Richard R. Muntz. I work in the Multimedia Systems Laboratory. I've done a lot of work with sensor networks and smart environments, though my work has encompassed everything from network protocols and workload modeling to mobile query support and virtual environments. I'm currently applying some of that research to emergency response systems and other applications that utilize spatial environments.

Previously, I worked with Professor Lixia Zhang in the Internet Research Laboratory on the Gradient Broadcast (GRAB) project for autonomous sensor networks. The technically minded can also visit my departmental Web page for a list of my recent publications.
