Welcome to the kitchen, where I've learned to really enjoy cooking over the years. I've collected a frighteningly large number of cookbooks and cooking implements, and I've tried my hand at quite a few different dishes. In fact, it's gotten to the point where some of my friends have this strange idea that I've become some sort of yuppie gourmand, and they like buying me even more cookbooks and kitchen gadgets. Unfortunately, they won't believe me when I claim that they're simply contributing to a vicious circle. Currently, we have around 100 food-related books on our bookshelf, consisting of many cookbooks and the odd work on food science or culinary history.

Here, you can find pictures of a few dishes that I've made, often with the help of friends. I'm not one to emphasize presentation, especially when I'm not cooking for a special occasion, so please excuse the plainness of some of the images. Unfortunately, most of our best dishes get eaten before anyone thinks about bringing out a camera, and I haven't been very vigilant about taking pictures recently.
