Prof. Larry Rowe spoke about the legacy of computer science at Berkeley at the first HKN general meeting of the semester. He retold the tales from throughout our history, from the L&S-CS/EECS rivalry and the brain leak to Xerox PARC) to the legends of Bill Joy and Berkeley UNIX, and even the modern day prominence of Berkeley CS graduates. |
