General Meeting 3

Xilinx Infosession

Representatives from Xilinx gave an informative talk about their company and how it is like to work for Xilinx. Included in the presentation were demos of cool new devices currently in development, including Quake and Asteroids running on a "system on a board" without an OS. They also talked about development on their Virtex line of FPGAs (that we use in CS150/152) as well as other products. To close off the infosession, an MP3 player/USB flash drive was raffled off to one lucky attendant. Food was Zachary's pizza and ice cream.
