DescriptionThis course will cover a wide variety of topics relating to the development of computer aids for integrated circuit design. The course will emphasize state-of-the-art techniques and both the theoretical basis for the methods as well as the application of results to practical problems, including details of implementation. Topics to be covered include simulation, layout techniques, synthesis, verification, testing, and integrated design systems.
