Prerequisites188 or equivalent.
DescriptionFundamentals of knowledge representation and use in computers. Predicate calculus, non-monotonic logics, probability and decision theory, and their use in capturing commonsense and expert knowledge. Theorem-provers, planning systems belief networks and influence diagrams as reasoning methods. Integrated architectures for intelligent agents. A project will be undertaken.
