1. Recap of Events that Happened (vu)
- Alumni Broomball: 2-2 (score is debatable)
- Bowling: Not a lot of interaction with IEEE
- GRE Review Sessions: 8 people came in the first one, 1 person 
  came to the second one, perhaps not a lot of demand?
- Study Skills: 20 people came
- GM2: Sequin was really funny, good talk
- Board game: low turnout, only 1 game of settlers going on. 
  A lot of midterms going on.
- Indrel took candidates to go to SWE's Evening with Industry. 
  5 candidates came. Talked to reps. Turned out pretty well.

1.5 Banquet Search (vu)
- Thinking of Perry's Downtown (in SF).
- Closes perhaps at 9:30, so plan to go on Thursday.  
- Casual wear
- People who could go on Thursday at 7pm:

2. Potluck (vu)
- sign up online for what you're going to bring (enough 
  for about a dozen people)
- try to bring different things

3. Girls Go Tech (vu)
- On the same day as big game (11/20)
- Desperately need people to go
- Email lid@hkn if you can go
- A bunch of girl scouts (about 300)
- Vu wants to go for the girls!
- Perhaps show them robots, flashing LEDs, FPGA, could be 
  something about science, battery w/ spinning coil (EM flux, ask juhi)

- Volunteers: connie and jessica volunteered to help

4. Department Committees (vu)
- Department wants people to serve in undergrad committees
- Dustin volunteered to be on the safety committee. Since no one 
  else present expressed interested, he is it.
- Vu will forward email with information on committees

5. Yahoo Tech Talk (hxu)
- From 7-9 on Wednesday

6. Faculty Mixer (vu)
- Dustin needs car to grab food at 10:30
- Hxu volunteered to drive him.

7. Bakefest (vu)
- Do people have bake ware (ie. Bunt pan? Cupcake tins? 
  Bread stuff, muffin tins, "whatever") 
- If you have baking stuff, let Dustin know
- Connie has "stuff"
- Hua has stuff too
- Tina has stuff.

8. Banquet Speaker (vu)
- Who should we choose for banquet speaker?
- Maybe industry? 
- Historically, not industry for banquet
- Suggestions: Messerschmitt, Sastry (spoke within 3 years)
- Should be inspirational 
- Not ask: King, Malik, Karp since they spoke before at Banquet
- Possible Future speaker: Peter Weck (sp?) (director at AOL/Netscape)

  morning at 10:00 about course surveys
