*** Meeting Details ***

Meeting Start: 7:16

2nd to Last Meeting L

0. Props & Past Events
- Big Game, pre-game barbeque. There was a HKN "groupie" there. Actually,
we're not sure who he was or who he came with.
- Dustin, Connie, Jessica, and a candidate went to the
GirlsGoTech event. There were about 4 thousand people there.
Not sure if convinced anyone to become an engineer.
- Props to Tina for setting up course surveys. Must have
  taken a lot of time.

1. Things to do/ Places to go (vu)
Drivers wanted to provide rides to Chaparral House. 15
candidates are coming. Does anyone want to go? Vu would be
able to ride. Someone can borrow Hua's car.

2. Charity Drive (nikitas)
- Erop off empty shampoos, lotion, bottles at Engineering Library
- Ends December 12th

3. End of semester meetings (vu)
- Like pre-semester meetings. Vu will send out times. Should be
  pretty flexible.

4. Mu Cow Awards (vu)
- Awards given to officers, not serious awards
- Send nominations to Vu.

5. Course Surveys (ttd)
- Tina needs help doing course surveys
- There is a bunch that none of the candidates signed up for.

send you the information.

6. Banquet (vu)
- Invites sent out this morning. People are replying.
Vu will send another one early next week, since he figures
  officers are going to procrastinate.
- We are trying to get Sastry to come speak. Dustin has backups in mind.
- Pub needs to make programs.

7. Keep offices clean (ezeng
- It's a mess right now, so clean up after yourself.

8. Office Hours (wsim)
- A number of people who have talked to Wonsop about
  people missing their office hours
- Rules: go to your office hours. It is not okay for the
  office door to be closed.
- A candidate informed Wonsop that he needed to get something
from the office but found the office closed.
- Try to make your office hours.
- Need to take responsibility to make sure that someone
actually does cover your office hours.
- We have the offices because of tutoring. This is an important service.
- Perhaps the reason for officers missing their OH
is perhaps that not a lot of people come since Hearst
  Mining Labs are too far?
- What can we do to not make people miss office hours?
- Perhaps we can cap the number of office hour covers?
- When you do cover someone's OH, hit reply-all so we
know that the office is going to be covered
- Should have a calendaring system so that you have
a list of people that should be available. You could always
go through tutoring to find out when people are free.
