*** Meeting Details ***
0. Props (Vu)
- Bridge for working on yearbook
- Indrel for picking getting Morgan Stanley for an InfoSession. 
- Career Fair is overbooked, need to shaft 4 companies
- Tina for getting money for Centennial Conference
- Pub for flyers. They're really on top of things.

1. Stuff to do/ Things to do (Vu)
- Go to Candidate meeting and AMD Day. Get free food at AMD Day 
  and watch Casey compete in Doom3.

2. Yearbook (Vu)
- Bridge will send out a link, so please read it over
- Will print out two hard copies (Soda and Cory) so write 
  changes on it if you're bumming around Soda or Cory
- Yearbook due October 15th (receive date)

2.5 OM Time (Vu)
- Apple InfoSession and Career Fair both next Tuesday
- No OM that Tuesday, but need to meet for logistics
- Will meet Monday at 7:00 on October 4th, Hua will contact 
  you if you miss the meeting. Monday at 7:00 beats Monday at 6:00
  for OM time, since EJC people can give report if we meet at 7:00

3. Candidate Meeting (Isaac)
- Challenge Guidelines: 
  - goal is to get candidates to know the officers
  - allow candidates to get to know HKN
	1) 2 officers can't sign off for same challenge
	2) no challenge answers over email or assignment 
	   over email
	3) no challenges to committee candidates (from 
	   officers in that committee)
	4) Have at least 4 challenges and cycle through
	5) Remember what you gave!
	6) for group challenges make sure an officer participates
	7) no crapwork challenges (email me if you're not sure) - no 
	   garbage collection, personal favors, nothing illegal, 
	   nothing embarrassing, etc.
	8) don't give challenges that can be googled very easily 
	   (like trivia challenges)

	***try to get performances!!!!

- Candidate Conversations: Thursday and Friday of next week, make 
  sure you sign up for one slot (preferably not your tutoring hours)

- Ideas for Icebreakers for CM: 
  o Brandon and strip poker (I didn't want to ask for clarifications)
  o Send ideas to Isaac by tomorrow for possible icebreakers
  o Last years machine icebreaker (group of 8 act out a machine)
  o Skits in general are fun & good

- Vu says: "Try to be outgoing" during the Candidate Meeting
- If you have a committee song in mind, send it to Isaac over 
  calmail or a link

4. AMD Day (Hxu)
- If you can't make the time, talk to Hxu
- Free lunch 12-1
- Free dinner 5-6
- Different talks during the day
- Shirts in soda, grab one before your shift and then go find 
  someone in Indrel

5. Career Fair (Hxu)
- Make sure you can attend the slots you signed up for.
- The times for when you signed up will come out later this week.

5.5 Apple (Hxu)
- October 5: need people from 6-8 pm

6. ASUC Infosession 
- If you need money, go at 5:30 in HP Aud on Thursday September 
  30th to ask ASUC for funding

7. T-Shirt design contest
- Open for all EECS people to submit t-shirt submissions
- Comment: "Yeah that would be sweet"
- Winner gets shirt
- Jcliang is willing to take this on. Brave of her.
- Vu: if you have any ideas, feel free to throw them out 

General Thoughts (Vu):
- Things get livelier after we get candidates
- When people come to get their certificates, let them know
  that the certs are on the table in Cory HKN office
