0. Places to Go & Props (Mimi)
------------------------------
Places to go!
Mon:	10AM-4PM, HP Site Visit
Tues:	12PM-1PM, Calvin shakes booty (hopefully not his own) at Lower Sproul.
5PM-6PM, Grad School Infosession (EE: Hogan Room / CS: Woz)
Fri:	10AM-4PM, Candidate packets due (ooooooooh)

The following people are infected with Mad Props:
. Cal Day supporters
. All tutors for making office hours
. Amir for coming to activities (and to everyone else who've been coming
  to activities)
. Ellen for cal day, grad school stuff, faculty retreat, and GM3 panel
. Isaac, Geoff, ExamFiles and Casey for being on top of the candidate stuff
. CompServ for meeting with candidates
. Connie for calling her candidates

May their recovery be swift and relatively painless.

1. "Other" Things (Mimi)
------------------------
Mimi asks that officers...
. be more respectful to people speaking at OM (presenters: stop talking if
  it gets too loud)
. keep the soda office clean (it's becoming a big, biG, bIG, BIG problem)

. Also, faculty retreat surveys indicate that a lot of extreme opinions of
HKN. People seem to either like or dislike HKN very much. we should
address this matter... please be more aware.
    opinions...
    - are the opinions biased?
    - we need to do more things for the eecs population (student
relations stuff, open up activities to all eecs students?)
    - need to emphasize that HKN is about serving the community
    - TUTORING should be the highest priority during office hours! Need
to put in more effort to help tutees and make them feel more
      comfortable.

2. Faculty Advisor Non-updates (Mimi)
-------------------------------
. It has been confirmed, Professor Ross is indeed leaving :(
. Professor Tse will get back to Mimi. If he declines, Mimi will continue
to ask other professors. Professor Sahai is next.

3. Election Date Change? (Still Mimi)
-------------------------------------
. Instructions go until the Tuesday after banquet.
. We will probably leave the election date alone. There were no
  objections at the OM.
. We will also emphasize running by proxy at banquet.
. Lastly, we will try out a new form of voting this semester, called
approval voting. There will be a smaller meeting later to discuss new
procedures and to update the by-laws as necessary.

4. Members @ Next OM (Meemster)
-------------------------------
. Will invite members to the next officer meeting, to thank them for being
active and supporting us. Behave, or I will place my dirty laundry in
  your backpacks and water bottles!
. We'll talk about how to reformat/streamline elections and any changes we
  might want to consider making.

5. Dunk Tank (Roooooooooooopert)
--------------------------------
. Could be on the 30th / 7th of May
. Can't get insurance from the college, so we need to get a faculty member
to sponsor us (perhaps Professor Ross, Professor Rao, Professor Sastry).
. Need to get dunkees. Please try to find dunkees.

Why dunk tank? I.e., what do we tell the Professors it's for?
-> Sense of community between profs and students

Also, EJC elections are next monday. It may be important for someone
from HKN to be on the EJC Finance Committee - talk to Rupert if you're
interested in running for any EJC officer position.
