Tuesday - GM3 @ 6:30PM

Props to pub for handling all the last-minute publicity requests that were
thrown at them!

And a happy birthday to Raman - he's all that and a can of chips.  And 
then some.


2. GM3
------
. Emergency situation: How to keep Devang from crashing GM3 - Down with 
  the uberhoser!
. Course survey signups should be ready by GM3: we want to have online 
  signups as soon as possible
. Candidates should all be working on or have completed their committee 
  assignments by now.


3. Dunk Tank (Rupert)
---------------------
. Was not done on Friday of E-week, but possibly will be a couple weeks 
  from now, since E-week wasn't getting too much traffic.

. Is it a good idea to run a dunk tank on the 30th?
  - will still be ejc sponsored.
  - would need volunteers to man it, and to set it up, and to drain it. 
    (estimate 5-10 people to set it up and take it down)
  - the weather should be better in 2 weeks.
  - it seems kind of random (there is no special occasion), but cool 
    nonetheless.
  - it would be MUCH cooler if faculty would do it.
. May want to make it a bigger event, like a fundraiser + bbq, etc.
. We have almost all the authorization we need to make it happen.
. Rupert would like some help inviting professor to be dunked.  So far, 
  only Ellen has succeeded in convincing staff/faculty to participate.


3.5 HP Site Visit (IndRel)

4. EECS Labs (Mimi)

. For your reference:
. Mimi talked to Kevin Mullaly, who is in charge of EECS lab space.
. Status of lab space:
  - recently took away two shared labs in cory
. Kevin assesses lab space needs each semester.
. Campus is cramped for space - next fall, the HFA labs will most 
  likely be moved to the dark, dank basement of evans, in the machine room 
  area.  EECS undergrads in CS61ABC will be caged in the labs in a 
  no-holds-barred battle royale match, and the survivor will be fed some 
  catsup.
. New lower division classes may be introduced (CS4); this may cause more 
  lab space needs.
