* Sheila Ross is officially our new faculty advisor! =)  geoffcm has sent 
confirmation to nationals.

* Student-Faculty Mixer is scheduled for next Tuesday, Oct 28 11-1pm.  Invite
your professors!

* also scheduled next Tuesday, Graduate School Workshop by C.K. Cheng from 
UCSD, please attend.

* Reported sightings of Nick Zamora (nickeyz) today.  All were deeply saddened 
that he did not come to the meeting.  


1.) EJC report
--------------
* Misha is hosting get together for EJC & ASUC Senators next Thursday.  Each
EJC society is allowed 2 reps.

* High School Outreach Program still needs presenters.  See EJC minutes if 
interested.

* E-day (Fri, October 31): 
  Costume contest is engineering themed.
  Charity drive for soap, socks, toothpaste, etc.  Society with most donations
  receives foosball table or digital camera.  I see foosball tournaments in
  our future....

2.) Community Service

* Breast Cancer Walk this Sunday, 9:30-1:30
  vu, awang, kevinw have signed up to drive. More drivers still needed.

* Harrison House Halloween, Fri Oct 31
  Drivers needed.  Will look into busing also.

* Alameda County Community Food Bank 
  Sat Nov 15 3:45-7:30pm & Sun Nov 16 8:15-11:30am.
  atsao volunteered to drive. More drivers still needed. (Notice a trend here?)

3.) Budget
----------
* mimi suggested getting a button maker.  Options are to have EJC buy it and 
then we can borrow it in the future (this may require buying our own supplies
however), or buying it ourselves for ~$100 out of EJC money set aside for 
our office supplies.  kgao says we have $1000 from EJC for office supplies, and
that we can probably get more money in the future.  There were concerns that
there are more essential things to buy first, so kgao will take requests over
the next week, and we will discuss at the next meeting.  All requests should
include estimated costs.

current suggestions: fridge, flash card for bridge, phones, business cards

* indrel & indrel candidates want to attend SWE's Evening with Industry, which
costs $17/non-members.  indrel wants to subsidize 10 candidates, for $10/each. 
This money will have to come from our own unbudgeted funds, but this cost will
be offset if indrel can get at least one attending company to come to the 
jobfair.  All voted to give indrel the $$.

4.) Casino Night

mimi needs playing cards.  vu has enough to start up his own entire casino. 
(supicious...)  Problem solved.

QWest Infosession 60 Evans, 6-8pm
quarl will pick up Zachary's pizza and deliver it ~7pm.
kgao, andy, awang, vu, nchen, and chan will help serve pizza, so that the
masses do not run away with whole pies of deep dish goodness.
