return Sun Nov. 2. We will drive there and hopefully stay at people's places,
unless people want to put up the money for a hotel room.

Unclear if all HKN members are allowed to participate, but if so then eveyone

* All current officers, cold-call your company about jobfair by Friday!

* recap of Aerospace incident: Miscommunication about jobfair led to Aerospace
rep. flying to Berkeley on Sept. 18. Impromptu table setup outside IEEE office,
pizzas were served and flyers were posted. Pretty good turnout.

* just picked up IBM infosession

* pub, get "TODAY!" stickers from vu

* Western Digital doesn't want food at infosession, but all flyers and emails
already advertised food. HKN will provide small amount of food so as not to
disappoint the masses. Will delegate $40 for cheesy stix, $10 for drinks.

5.) Studrel report
------------------
HKN/IEEE/SWE Casino night scheduled for Thur Oct. 23. Will be free to the
general public, but people must pay for the food (unless EJC is willing to pay
for the food.) Will be held in Bechtel in the lounge area or a conference room.
Prize for the top chip holder, rest of the chips cashed in for raffle tickets.
Event will hopefully will be mostly funded by EJC.

6.) Bridge report
-----------------
New printed copy of yearbook in both offices by tomorrow. Please look through
and add in information about events that you went to, helped organize, etc.

7.) ASUC funding
----------------
* EJC has $20,000 from ASUC + $10,000 from other funds. But restrictions on ASUC
money, for example no food, no flyers unless they say "ASUC sponsored event,
  wheelchair accessible."

* EJC is giving each society $100 without any restrictions.
Current requests: staple gun for flyering & manila folders for examfiles
  Submit additional requests to kgao

* Discussed putting "ASUC sponsored event, wheelchair accessible" on infosession
flyers, so we can use ASUC money for the flyers. Concerns about extra
restrictions and not being able to use our own printer for the flyers. kgao
will investigate the details about this and will email officers.

8. Candidate Report
-------------------
* Committee heads tell chan how many candidates you want, giving an upper and
lower bound, by Friday! Also submit ideas for candidate projects.

* Committees must prepare short speech for candidate meeting & pick a theme song.
Upload music to hkn, and email chan so he can download it. Do not email the
  music file to him directly!

* Discussed kgao's request for candidates to create online database so officers
can handle reinbursement & spending online. Concerns about security, time
commitment on such a big project, and needing access to hkn. Will delegate
  project to compserv instead.
